Tim Cook confirmed their employees in his recent visit to China that will arrive in June. We are in the final stretch to leave behind this May, and this not only means that we are on the threshold of summer, but the Apple Watch should be about to reach the Apple Store and thereby normalize the situation of current stock. June was the month designated by Angela Ahrendts, for the arrival in the stores, and now is Tim Cook who is confirmed.

Apple CEO was recently in China and there met with thousands of employees working at headquarters that the company has in the country. At the meeting, they discussed the various ecological plans that Apple wants to launch in the country, but also on the current state of two products very interested: Apple Watch and Apple Pay.

On the first, Cook told his employees that “Watch could not be doing better, we are working very hard to make it.” Although no official data about the sales, some analysts expect it to reach 2.3 million units sold during the month of May.

Cook also joked that Apple would have more staff responsible for operations and engineering for the smoothest launch although the situation appears to remain the same as weeks ago. The CEO promised that the Apple Store will begin to receive stock of Apple Watch “by June”, although it is unknown whether this also includes stores that are not part of the initial launch 9 countries. In any case, Tim Cook also announced last month that the watch begin to get more countries to “end of June.”

Cook expects the arrival of Apple Pay in China “Soon”

Employees also wanted to know about the status of negotiations to bring Apple Pay in China. Cook explained that this was precisely one of the main reasons for his visit to the country next to Eddy Cue, as were negotiating with potential partners payment services. But said they had made some progress to accelerate its arrival. Tim Cook did not want to risk giving a date and said it expected to happen “soon.”

As we read in 9to5Mac, also he reasserted his belief that China will eventually overtake the United States as the country that give higher revenues to Apple, in fact, right now and there will outsell iPhone in US
