Samsung Gear S2 has Attractive Design

Still a few days to see officially the new Samsung Gear S2 on IFA 2015 in Berlin, but gradually we get to know some of the details of this new SmartWatch. Also in the last few hours, we have also seen again an image that confirms its attractive design, which has little or nothing to do with the previous smart watches South Korean company origin.

The image you can see on this article has been published by Dennis Miloseski, vice president of Samsung America Design in his Instagram account a few hours ago.

Here we can appreciate the design of the new Gear S2 and view annulus, which also shows the moon phase. Maybe they have gone through retouching and filter Instagram but the SmartWatch has a very nice look and I think any love.

Unfortunately to see, touch and know in depth we will have to wait until next September 3. It is the day when Samsung officially presented this Gear S2. It will also be the day when we can clear some unknowns, including the operating system that will installed or the price it will have on the market.

How about designing the new Samsung Gear S2 as seen in the image published last device?

Samsung Gear S2 release date

There was launch speculation on MWC 2015, then on CTIA appearance in September, but Samsung has confirmed that the launch date for the Samsung Gear S2 will be 3 September 2015. The launch venue will be IFA 2015 in Berlin. The huge technology conference has seen a number of high-profile Samsung launches in the past – including the Galaxy Note family. Now it’s set to be the venue for the launch of Samsung’s latest wearable, the Samsung Gear S2. Samsung has set the stage, issued the invites, so everything is set for the big reveal on Thursday 3 September.

Samsung Gear S2 price

Asking for pricing, not much information has surfaced; some sites have suggested it’ll cost around £329. That was the original price of the Gear S, although the existing device has now taken a price cut down to £279. Pricing will be critical for the Gear S2 to be competitive. Android Wear devices top out at £259 for the LG Watch Urbane, and the Apple Watch starts at £299, so stepping over the £300 mark would be a big turn-off for potential customers.
