Some time ago Samsung officially introduced Gear S2 smartwatch with Tizen OS and a circular design. Gear S2 comes in two models, the Gear S2 Classic with a classic design and gear S2 with a modern and sporty design. So how the market response to this smartwatch?
It seems so far Samsung Gear S2 can be received quite well, especially in its home country. Market demand for Samsung Gear S2 in South Korea is quite large. Pre-order devices even selling well, Gear S2 sold out, so on October 2 there will be a lot of people wearing Gear Samsung S2. The market acceptance of the Samsung S2 Gear does not seem much different from its predecessor generation.
Both models Samsung Gear S2 features IP68 certification for water-resistant and dust-proof. Samsung uses 1.2-inch display with a resolution of 360×360 pixels (302ppi) for this new smartwatch, like most smartwatch that exist in the market. Besides Samsung Gear S2 is also accompanied by a cellular connectivity that can be accessed via e-SIM. The way the first and most commonly used to transfer between the phone and smartwatch notification, even beyond the range of WiFi / BT.
As for internal specs, Samsung Gear S2 powered dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of flash storage that can be used to store music on smartwatch. And as usual, Samsung also includes a heart-rate monitor to this new smartwatch. According to some sources, this smartwatch will come with 16-18 pre-installed applications.
