BlackBerry finally confirms the presence of a smartphone based on Android OS. The presence of phone called the BlackBerry Priv – previously predicted Venice – it is confirmed by BlackBerry CEO, John Chen.

Confirmation was made by Chen when announcing Q2 2016 earnings report, in which he confirmed his name Priv. He said, Priv is a combination of safety and productivity of a BlackBerry with a large ecosystem of mobile applications owned by Android.

Priv will be launched by the BlackBerry in late 2015, although until now there has been no official confirmation about the specifications of the device, except for the size of the screen is called by Chen will be 5.5 inches.
