After has been discussed and become popular news, Xiaomi keeps its promise by announcing a range of new devices on Tuesday (11/24/2015). One of the most highlighted is the newest smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

Redmi Note 3 Specifications

Redmi Note 3 is the first Xiaomi Note series that uses the metal material. In addition, there is a fingerprint sensor. This sensor has an advantage. It can be used to unlock the phone without the access code. Not only two features (Metal material and Fingerprint sensor) that are a mainstay of Redmi Note 3.

The fingerprint sensor feature located on the side of the back. The fingerprint lets you unlock your phone in just 0.3 seconds. Additionally, you can save up to 5 fingerprints on the device. This technology also supports security for payment.

Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p FHD. It has an 8.65 mm thick and 164 grams weight. This smartphone uses Helio X10 chipset technology, MT6795 octa-core chip. Mediatek Helio X10 processor is one of the most advanced mobile computing. Helio X10 has eight cores.

Redmi Note 3 comes with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM on the standard version. The high-end version of Redmi Note 3 has 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM capacity. Redmi Note 3 supported by the 4G LTE network and running MIUI 7 with Android 5.1.1 OS base.

Although made of a metal cover, Redmi Note 3 stay slim and the lightweight only 4 grams heavier than the previous generation that made by plastic material. The previous model has a weight of 160 grams. As we read on Phone Arena, the smartphone which was originally planned to have the name ‘Redmi Note 2 Pro’ has a super battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. Although the battery is classified into the category of large-capacity, it does not mean the phone comes with a “fat” physical. It was true, that Redmi Note 3 comes with a fairly thin design that is 8.65mm.

As reported by Phone Arena (24/11), Redmi Note 3 sold at a price of the US $ 172 for variant 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Well, if you want a cheaper, Xiaomi also sell variant 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal memory which is sold at a price of the US $ 140.
