Nexus 5x Camera Review: Google’s Best Nexus Camera Ever
We have already talked about the Nexus 5X speakers, now we will talk about the Nexus 5X camera review. The Nexus 5X review has been discussed by many peoples to date. But, especially for the Nexus 5X camera review feature will probably be discussed more than any other topic. Is it good enough? or is it bad? You may want to know more about this topic.
Now, after we have been discussed the camera on the Nexus 5X specs part 2. I have a good idea to get more specific details of the camera by talk again about the Nexus 5X camera review. I have read many articles, but the best point came from Kellex. Again, thanks for Kellex from Droid Life that shared a good review. According to him, “I am thoroughly enjoying a camera in a Nexus phone. This is similar to how I enjoy cameras in others phones like the Galaxy S6 and LG G4. The Nexus 5X camera is very capable or maybe even very good. I had probably already argue that it is the Google’s best Nexus camera ever.” Well, let’s go further to know the Nexus 5x camera review.
There are more camera samples that taken by Kellex from various situations. The outdoor shots were taken in the early hours of a day in Portland, mid-afternoon shots, indoor shots, and of course, macros and food close-ups. According to Kellex experiences, the camera of Nexus 5x powered right on through with positive results. So, before we get into the Kellex’s results, let’s talk about the camera and its software first. Here we go!
The Nexus 5X Camera
According to the Google, the Nexus 5X using a special 12.3MP camera that was originally made for point-and-shoot cameras. By using a large sensor, which is the reason the Nexus 5x has a subtle hump where the camera lies. As for specs, the Nexus 5X camera’s shots at f/2.0 with IR laser-assisted auto focus, combined with a broad-spectrum CRI-90 dual flash, and manages to capture 1.55 µm pixels.
That is fancy speak for the larger pixels that in theory will able to capture more light. The Nexus 5x camera lacks optical image stabilization (OIS). But, Google insists that the larger micron pixels on the Nexus 5x will negate the OIS need. The camera has the ability to record a video in 4K and at 30 fps, and when you need to shoot at slow motion mode, it will give you a video at 120fps. Loading up the default camera app from Google, I (Kellex) quickly realized how much it lives up to its Nexus-beating hype. Thanks to the 1.55-micron pixels that do well in low light condition. This is larger than the normal pixels, and also can capture more light for stronger indoor photography by using Google Nexus camera. The camera sensor is 12.3MP, a lower number than its top-performing Android rivals. But the Nexus 5X has an ability to allows you to use the extra light for superior low-light images.
According to Google, a whopping 80% of photos are taken in low light condition. Google proclaimed that the Nexus 5X (as well as the Nexus 6P) has the best camera it has ever put into a Nexus. How about the camera Software? The camera app on the Nexus 5X is about as basic of a camera app experience as you will see on the others basic camera app. That is not bad, it is just minimal. Let’s compare it to the camera experience seen on Motorola’s smartphones which are to say that it’s basic. That is best to just get out of your way. This means you have to take it for what it is rather than make it your own. Here the sample photo from Kellex:

Conclusions
The Nexus 5x’s camera is fast to load, fast to focus (with laser auto focus), and incredibly quick to shoot quality images. The 5X camera is one of the favorite smartphone cameras to date. Because, it’s solid in low light conditions, and it’s very good in macro situations. You can also shoot landscape photos and get the best of them. The last, as long as you are fine with letting the camera do all of the hard work, it does a great job in a variety of situations at capturing quality images.
You should try to use an external lens with the Nexus 5X, then you might get the better result in a special condition like at wide angle, or in macro. Relate to that, you may want to know more the ZEISS lens in near future. Hopefully, in near future, it will get a special external lens. Well, that is all about the Nexus 5x camera review. What do you think? However, if you have a different experience with the Nexus 5x camera, please let us know via comment. Thank you for coming up.
