1. Using a VPN (Virtual Private Network)

A virtual private network (VPN) protects your data and identity over public networks, like the Internet and wireless hotspots. Various protocols are used to create an encrypted tunnel that transports data securely. While a firewall may protect the data on your computer, a VPN will protect your data on the Internet.

There are of course bunch of VPN in the market, whether it is an appstore or  google playstore. We have already cover some of the VPN for Android and iPhone

For Android Some are:

  • VYPR VPN
  • F-Secure VPN
  • Flash VPN
  • Super Net VPN

For iPhone are :

  • VYPR VPN
  • Express VPN
  • Private Access Internet
  • IP Vanish

2. Use Free Wi-Fi Outside your House

An IP address doesn’t travel with you. So if you simply go to a coffee shop, bookstore or hotel lobby and tap into their Wi-Fi, you will temporarily hide your usual IP address. How so? You’ll be using their network’s IP address for as long as you’re online.

Try it out. First, check your IP address on WhatIsMyIPAddress.com, and then visit any place with free Wi-Fi, log in to their Internet and check it again. See the change? Try it out yourself.

3. Use a Web based Proxy

Sign up with these services and when you go online, you’ll be showing the world a different IP address. A web-proxy is useful if you aren’t on your own computer and on your phone because all the work is being done through the browser, so the method works regardless of your computer’s or android operating system.

Your IP address remains hidden, because only the proxy server’s IP address is transmitted to the web page. There are several websites that list proxies that you can use. Proxy.org is a great place to start that is constantly updating its list. There’s a good chance that proxy listing sites like Proxify will be blocked by a school or work network. Visit the site at home and make a list of 10-15 proxy sites to try at the blocked computer.
