Mobile Legends Guide – Gatot Kaca Tank, Build with Video Attach!

It has been a while since the last guide of Mobile Legend. So, here we are going to give you another guide of mobile legends, with the hero of Indonesia, Gatot Kaca.

Gatotkaca ‘The Iron Bone’ was the son of Bima and Arimbi from Arcapada universe. Since his childhood, he’s been a champion of Gods, fights vicious enemies of his homeland. Once lost and beaten near death, Gatotkaca arise as a mighty warrior from Pandava clan who possessed the supernatural power he got from the ultimate training inside the cauldron of heaven, Candradimuka.

With his Antakusuma armor and Brajamusti-Brajadenta twin gauntlet, he can fly across the skies like lightning and hunt down his enemies, the furious Ashuras. Gatotkaca, the Knight of Priggadani is a symbol of bravery and devotion. Based on Garudayana comic series created by Is Yuniarto, inspired from Indonesian traditional shadow puppets.

Skill Build:

Steel Bones – Converts (4%) lost HP to his physical defense, up to 250. Every 6 seconds, dealing damage to the enemies with higher HP grants 110-250 (increases with level) HP and 0.5 times HP of his physical defense. This what makes this hero a very tanky. Imagine you can boost two stats by just investing on one.

Blast Iron Fist – Shatters the front ground, dealing 300 magical damage and slowing the enemies.

Unbreakable – Gatotkaca shouts loudly, forcing nearby enemies to basic attack him for 1.5 seconds. In the next 2.5 seconds, he counters the attacker when hit, dealing 130 magical damage to nearby enemies.

Avatar of Guardian – Shortly charges and jumps to the target area, knocking nearby enemies into the air for 1 second and dealing 500 magical damage. The enemy near to the center is knocked into the air for a longer time.

Lvl up your first skill to the max first then your second skill.

Item Build (Tank):

1st Item: Shoes: Warrior Boots (+22 Armor, +40 Movement speed and each time you received a basic attack you will receive and increase of 5 defense til 25 lasting 3s).

The warrior boots can be change to tough boots that will give you +22 magic res depending on your enemy. If your enemy is a mage then this is the best item for you.

2nd Item: Demon’s Advent (+920 HP, +54 Armor, +30HP Regent and When enemy hero attack you, their attack will receive a 6% reduction lasting for 2s and can stacks up to 3 times. Which means 18%)

This is the best item for any tank, and because Gatot Kaca second skill will make your enemy attack you. Then they will definitely receive the reduction.

3rd Item: depending on your enemy, you could either choose Oracle (+850HP, +36 Magic Res, +35 HP Regen, +10% CD Reduction and each time you get attacked you will heal 4% of your health and it will have 8s cool down time) or Athena Shield (+900Hp, +56 Magic Res, +20HP Regen and a shield will manifest itself after 30s)

This is a magic res item that will help you tank yourself with the enemy mage. Either way, if there aren’t that many mage then Oracle is the best for you, but if your enemy mage is to OP then Athena Shield is your choice.

4th Item: Dominance Ice (+500 Mana, +70 Armor, +5% Crit Strike Reduction, +15% CD Reduction and could lower your enemy Movement speed by 5% and enemy attack speed by30%)

This is another must have item in my opinion. It is because this item will help you in hitting or provoking your enemy with the second skill. It lower your enemy movement speed by a lot. Plus with the minus attack speed 30% your enemy will have a hard time hitting you.

5th Item: Immortality (+800 HP, +40Magic Res, and revive you with 15% of your health and then give you a shield of 1000Pts depending on your lvl)

This item will improve your tank ability to any Mage plus it will give you a second chance.

6th Item: this item is actually free for any of you guys. Just see your enemy build and buy an item depending on their built. You could either buy magic res item if your enemy team damage dealer is a Mage, Or Heart of steel if your team is a Marksman that used critical hit.

Playing as a tank means that you will be covering your team mates and taking most of your team damage. Thankfully Gatot Kaca skill is defense oriented. The first skill can slow the enemies, while the second skill can make other enemies target you, in addition to provoking the enemies you will be able to deal magic damage to the area.

The second skill is great for rescuing your team mates and in team fight. Save your team mates, especially your damage dealer and marksman. They have a low hp but have high damage, your second skill is the best way to do that.

Another useful skill is the ultimate skill that could be used to engage the enemy or to just run away when you are going to die. If you can’t precisely used your ultimate to engage the enemy, wait until the enemy engage then use your ultimate. Even if your skill didn’t hit, your enemy will scatter and it will be easier to kill a scattered Marksman.

You don’t really need to go back to your base. Especially if you use a healing spell, however if your Mana is low, then you could go back, as Gatot Kaca without Mana isn’t that much of a use to your team fight. If not, go to the jungle and punch the jungle monster once before going back. Your passive will activate itself and heal you if your character health is lower than the enemy health, either jungle monster or a minion.
