Have you ever wondered what will you do if you can make your own cult? What will you do to summon your own God? to increase your cult follower? to improve your money and to avoid the suspicion of the police? Well, if you have then this game is perfect for you.
Description
Underhand is a CCG (Cultist Card Game) that puts you into the role of a cult leader. Your job is to manage your cult’s resources effectively as you respond to different event cards drawn from the deck.
How you respond to these events will determine how far you’ll go– will you succeed in summoning one, or maybe even all of the Ancient Ones? Or will you be just another would-be upstart falling prey to the trials and tribulations of time? Only you can decide!
The game has one goal, it is to summon your God. There are about 7 God that you can summon and each time you had summon them, they will help you in the game. You need to balance your resource while avoid making yourself suspicious. There are a total 6 resource in the game:
Relic: can be used to summon your god, depend on your god. You might need to have more than one relic.
Cultist: it is your Pawn in the game, you can use them to do some stuff or even sacrifice them.
Prisoner: it is your hostages in the game. To get them, you can usually betray your cultist or kidnap the townies / villager but doing that will usually give you a suspicion card.
Money: it is important to the game. With it you can buy some food, cultist, and many other thing in the game.
Suspicion: it is a card that you need to avoid if you can. It increase your card count. If you have more than 15 card in your hand. You will automatically get a greed card that will automatically discard 5 card on your hand.
Food: it is the card you need to have at least one. To sustain your cult, you need to have food. Because of that if you don’t have a food. You will either lose your game or make a choice to eat your cultist / your prisoner.
