Alchemica Game Review – Manage Your Store and Defeat Your Enemies!

Description

Welcome to Rochendil, an fantasy realm filled with magic and mystery. Peace have reigned the continent for years, but signs of dark times are starting to loom on the horizon.

Journey as Charlotte, a young girl returning to her hometown as an alchemist, pursuing her dream to become a successful merchant. Little does she know of her monumental role in carving the fate of her world…

Alchemica is a game about managing your own store while advancing through the story. You will be playing as Charlotte in a world where making a healing potion is as simple as playing a puzzle game. You just need to find the material first though.

In the game, you can find the material that you can use to craft your store merchandise. Note that the material, not only can be find at the ground but also inside the monster that you have beaten ….. with a slingshot. Yep, you read it right, a slingshot. The one that shots rocks and stuff. Interesting game mechanic isn’t it.

Although your weapon is just a slingshot, you can still use a set of attack item that you craft yourself such as a bombs. The idea is that your character, Charlotte is not a fighter, she is an alchemist, which means that she will use her items that she crafted herself to kill the enemies. Make sense right.

Well, although the only thing that i have reviewed about is about the battle mechanic. The game shines when it comes to the store management. You will be managing your store, picking up the items that you have found or crafted and then sell it in your store.

It is pretty interesting, as your buyer will also haggle and ask for a discount while buying your items. You can also set the price. It is very fun!
