Us a new cover with the image of the new clock and a link to Kickstarter, a popular platform for crownd funding where born Pebble appears after finishing the timer. For the launch of this new model, Pebble again resorted to financing through crownd funding to get the $ 500,000 they need to realize this new model, something that plenty will be achieved because in just 10 minutes after already been raised over $ 376,000.

Pebble is perhaps the clock that has driven the market for smartwatch and one of the pioneers and has managed to get a very good reputation with a “simple” product at a good price and it offers all the practical things we can expect a smartwatch with an autonomy which can exceed 7 days.

Features of the new Pebble:

  • A flat and rounded design.
  • Display Color E-link very low consumption will continue to allow an average range of 7 days as the original model.
  • Microphone will allow us to answer some notifications and use some voice commands.

In addition to these key features, Bluetooth 4.0 features as its predecessor, waterproof, we can put any standard belt, etc.

In the video offered through Kickstarter we can see how there is a greater quantity and fluidity of animations we assume that the power of the device has to be increased but no details on the processor or the power increase is specified relative to previous generation. There is also a very important aspect because with the approach Pebble really more power than the original model is needed.

In the video we see some details of the new version of firmware, which we see as the notification center has been greatly improved and even depending on the color of the background we can distinguish between recent or old notifications.

Theverge.com reported; Early bird backers will be able to get a Time for $159, while the rest of the Kickstarter backers will get one for $179. Pebble Time will cost $199 at retail stores when it ships in May, and it will come in three colors: white, black, or red.
