The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reveals that Apple is preparing new materials for the case of your Smartwatch for Q4. Although Apple Watch is even still in the market, it seems that Apple already has planned new releases later this year. As could reveal the Ming-Chi Kuo analyst, known for its good record of successes as far as future plans of the company is concerned, the Apple Watch will be available on new material later this year, particularly in the fourth quarter.

Kuo predicts that Apple could launch one to three new versions of its smart watch that would add to the current models in aluminum, stainless steel and 18K gold. These new versions come into production in the fourth quarter of this year and could be available for the holiday shopping period, the time of year when Apple gets its highest turnover.

It is not yet known what new materials could incorporate these versions of Apple Watch, although recent information from the WSJ have revealed that the company would be considering launching a new model in platinum, a material of high luxury that could exceed by over $ 10,000 the Apple Watch Edition.

Another possible materials could be Liquid Metal, alloy on which Apple already owns various patents but we’ve seen yet materialized in any particular product, except to the micro-SIM card of some iPhone. Nor does it rule out the possibility of a housing made of some kind of special plastic to become the entry model to the line of Apple Watch version, but do not believe that Apple will sell anything below $ 349 in starting the Sport collection.

Platinum could be one of the materials incorporating exclusive future versions of Apple Watch

Of course, we must assume that it is only new materials, so we would not be let alone to a generation gap or a new version of Apple Watch. Given that the device will be released next April, we do not expect the second generation of smartwatch until next year at this same time.

Certainly, as we read in 9to5Mac, if current models of Apple Watch does not convince, maybe you want to wait a few months to find out what the company has planned for Christmas. What do you think? Do you think it worth the wait?
