Google Now Implement Age-Based Ratings For Content

So, here as the one of the newest feature that you will see in the playstore, google will added an age-based ratings for content in the playstore. Now, you can rate your chosen or favorite application not only with star, but also with your recommended age for person that use this application. Basically this new feature will tell people about the application that they will download. People can decide by themselves whether it is the right application for them or not, but if they still want to download it, it doesn’t matter at all. This age-based ratings is just for a reference about it, the application itself.

Google said that this feature will help them fight against the fraudulent softwares that have been submitted to the playstore because softwares like this just want to collect your personal data or just want you to download the other application or just simply want you to visit some ads, so thats why not only google, people also hate this kind of applications.

Before this, google use an automated response system, so if someone want to add his / her application to the playstore, the system just approve it automatically. No matter what application it is, so because of this google has become more protective in filtering the applications in the playstore, also to protect user from fraud application.
