Vector Announces Smartwatches with a Battery of 30 Days
This week has taken place Baselworld fair where we have not only seen the latest models of watch but also have seen the odd smartwatch in one of the most important fairs of watch making. The Tag Heuer announced one of these smart watches that were learned but there is more. The more interesting it may have been the most unnoticed. Vector, one of the most important brands of watches has announced two smartwatches that a battery will last approximately 30 days.
These models will be marketed smart watch in summer but for the moment, it is unknown what operating system used so we have no idea what kind of hardware will be used. We know, though, that these smartwatches be compatible with iOS, Android and Windows, so the confusion is even greater. Vector addition delegates say the battery will last 30 days and 30 hours, with an ordinary use as with any smartphone or any smartwatch.
Moon and Vector Watch Meridian will be the first model with this battery
The confusion on this information a lot and it keeps, as these watches do not have an exorbitant price it will cost $ 399 the most expensive, called Luna and the other smartwatch be called Meridian and will be priced at $ 199.
Currently you can already make a reservation for these watches but as we have said until summer will not be sold or shipped. In addition, of course, not be able to see such an announcement on the battery smartwatch, but I doubt that Vector is being bluffing with these watches because on one hand, it is not a new and secondly to be false company, negative publicity that would be created would be hard enough for the company.
Gizmag reported: The Company has placed an emphasis on the devices being “watch first”, meaning that it will perform its most basic function – telling the time – first. As such, certain functions such as calendar appointments have been designed to appear around the edges of the analog style display. Notifications are also designed to be discreet, only alerting the user via small vibration. The message will only display when the user raises the watch arm, and it dismisses when the user lowers the arm. While the company is encouraging the development of apps for the platform, third party software will adhere to the simple design language of the proprietary OS.
On how to assumptions and rumors, I would say that the Vector smartwatch strip much for the Pebble Time, ie a screen electronic ink color, with low consumption, but will last as battery Pebble and Vector?
