Android M has a Split Keyboard like IOS
Split keyboard or keyboard display split in two for mobile devices is not something new. Apple has already implemented in iOS, a number of third-party keyboard application in Android also has the same features.
But the standard Android keyboard has not this feature until finally Android M was introduced to the public in the Google I / O event 2015. In the latest Android OS, Google gives Keyboard application updates, precisely 4.0.23004 version, which has a split view option.
Of course, these applications can only be used in some devices, such as the Nexus 5, 6 Nexus, or Nexus 9 are already using Android M Developer Preview, as quoted from Phone Arena, Sunday (05/31/2015).
If you use the smartphone above, here’s how to enable split view, entry into the Settings menu – Language and Input – Google Keyboard Settings – Advanced – Appearance and layouts – Split Keyboard.
Although only available on a limited basis, hopefully when Android M has released by Google, it will provide an update of this keyboard app for other smartphones because this feature is useful for devices with larger screen sizes.
