A Hacked Apple Watch Natively Run the Flappy Bird
Some developers get run games like Canabalt and Flappy Bird in watchOS 2. Developers gradually becoming interested in Apple Watch software, and some of them have already been put hand to see what they can do with the Apple smartwatch. Just a few days ago we showed that hackers known Steven Troughton-Smith, Adam Jay Bell and Freeman had managed to run native applications on the new Apple Watch software using tools like UIKit or SceneKit.
Now, we have known that those same developers have also successfully run the popular game, Canabalt and the Apple Watch completely native independent. As you can see in the video that we leave a few lines down, the game responds perfectly to the user tactile feedback, but obviously is a task more than difficult to overcome an obstacle or even on the small screen clock.

However, the known developer Hamza Sood brings an even more popular game, it’s Flappy Bird, the true viral success that swept the App Store last year and reported huge profits to its creator. The version we see in the Apple Watch is not the original, but a clone rendered through SpriteKit tool. In addition, Sood has been able to add the Digital Crown as one of the possible controls to manage our bird. Of course, the game is impracticable.
Developers still do not have permission from Apple to use these tools for Apple Watch apps, although these hacked games show us a foretaste of what it will be capable device in the future. All these tests and modifications are being made on watchOS 2, the second generation of the system will arrive in autumn this year.
WatchOS arrive in autumn and bring the full potential of native applications
Surely watchOS 2 is a very interesting version for developers, because not only have the ability to create native applications for Apple Watch, but can also access multiple device hardware resources for use in their apps as Digital Crown heart rate sensor, microphone, accelerometer, or Taptic Touch Force Engine.
As we see in MacRumors, right now we can find some other game for the Apple Watch really curious, though obviously still dependent on the iPhone to work.
