New data show that demand Apple Watch fell sharply in June. Apple Watch sales remain a mystery, as the Cupertino company refuses to make them public after more than two months since its official launch. The conference announced financial results Q3 2015 to end of July is expected to finally know the actual sales data from Apple Watch, but in the meantime we must see the reports by some foreign companies like Slice Intelligence.

A few months ago, we reported that the initial boom in demand for Apple Watch quickly fizzled after the first day of period for the reserves, but it seems that this past July. The Apple smart watch suffered another sharp fall in demand after a fairly stable in May .

The report reveals that right now Apple is selling fewer than 20,000 watches per day in the United States, and less than 10,000 in a few days this past month. In fact, the June sales would have minimum registered in the last days of the month with 4,000 and 5,000 units sold in one day. These data refer only to the United States, which is not yet on record sales in the other 15 countries where Apple Watch now available.

Slice Intelligence also reveals that 2 of 3 Apple Watch sold out to date for the Sport model, leaving far behind the stainless steel model. In fact, it is estimated that Apple would have sold fewer than 2,000 models of Apple Watch Edition last June in the United States.

Apple Watch sales reached minimum of 4,000 units a day last June. Still, some analysts now estimate that Apple would sell 5.5 million watches during this quarter, an incredible figure when you consider that all Android devices Wear not reached the million units sold throughout 2014.

As we read on MacRumors, it would be too bold to think that Apple Watch can reach the current sales figures of the iPhone or the iPad, not in vain is the first generation of a completely new product and as such its potential audience is yet to be built. Apple unveils hopefully once and for all official sales data in the coming weeks.

Apple has not publicly disclosed any Apple Watch sales figures since the wrist-worn device launched in April, and will be grouping the device under its “Other Products” category, which combines sales of Apple Watch, iPod, Apple TV, Beats Electronics and accessories, in its quarterly fiscal reports.
