Apple will allow manufacturers to made Apple Watch induction plates include integrated accessories. Apple has announced it will soon allow manufacturers who are part of the Made for Apple Watch program create their own accessories with integrated chargers. This was a particularly welcome news for those manufacturers who are dedicated to the creation of docks and cargo bases, as from now be possible to have the magnetic induction cooktop own built without using the cable that comes with the Apple Watch.

A few months ago we showed you a collection of the best docks and charging cradles for Apple Watch, and they all had in common that they used self that comes with the watch to attach the accessory charger. Thus, we could see at the top of the dock we found the gap for introducing magnetic induction plate and usually a small slit that ran all the accessories to introduce and conceal the cable.

This will soon be over thanks to that manufacturers can create their own magnetic induction plates compatible with Apple Watch that integrated into the charging base, allowing not have to use the official charger that comes when we bought the Smartwatch.

Undoubtedly, this will allow greater flexibility for manufacturers when designing cargo bases and docks for Apple Watch, as they will no longer have the limitation of having to book a space to hide the charger cable and that it does not drape. It will be interesting to see in the coming months the various proposals that appear on docks by the most renowned manufacturers of Apple products.

Of course, this is not something we see immediately, because at the moment only a small number of manufacturers selected by Apple MFi program have received the component of the magnetic induction plate, so surely we have to wait until the end Year to see a considerable supply of this type of accessories. Manufacturers of straps for Apple Watch are also exacerbating the engineer and some of them used as Strap Reserve hidden clock port to charge our devices as we walk or do normal life.

It’s still early stages, however, so don’t expect to see manufacturers touting integrated chargers for a while. As of this week, the component is available in ‘sample quantities’ to MFi partners but official plans for accessories including the part cannot yet be submitted for approval.
