Interest in Apple Watch Search Engine Falls Strongly After its Launch

Although Apple Watch seems to have surpassed all expectations they had at Apple over the number of sales, the interest of users is declining as the weeks since its launch. A good way to analyze the interest in a particular product is to analyze the searches generated from the search engines, and in the case of Apple Watch stands well below other Apple products.

This is what they have seen from the firm UBS, which ensure that searches of Apple Watch have decreased considerably since the launch clock last April. In fact, the evolution of Internet searches for terms related to Apple Watch is closer to other devices such as the Nintendo 3DS, the Kindle Fire or the Nexus One, although it is true that the decline of the searches being less pronounced than in other Apple products.

Search requests have fallen by at least 60% in most countries, and only seems to having more force in some territories such as the United States, Canada, Hong Kong or the United Kingdom. Also it is surprising how little interest the Japanese seem to have users on the clock considering the popularity of the iPhone in the country.

There is always a certain decline in searches following the launch of any product, although there is no direct relationship between Internet searches and popular demand. UBS estimates that Apple Watch 2.2 million were sold in the last quarter and are down to 20 million sales forecast for the clock to 2016, half of what it initially announced.

The increased interest in Apple Watch is in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and UK

Despite this apparent decline in the interest of users, “a slow start does not mean that Apple Watch can not be a success when arriving native applications and new features are added over time,” they say from UBS.

As we read in Appleinsider, the decline in traffic for terms related to Apple Watch also note from specialized blogs. Without going any further, since News Watch also we have been noted in recent weeks as fewer users enter information related entries Apple Watch.

Even if interest has fallen, “a slow start does not mean the Watch can’t be a success as native apps are created and more functionality added over time,” UBS elaborated. Apple is due to release watchOS 2 sometime this fall. Native app support will be the headlining feature, fixing the slow speeds of some apps that can often make it simpler to pull out an iPhone than check a Watch.
