Availability and Pricing

First, it will be released in South Korea, while other countries have to wait. There is still no specific date for Korea, as the company not yet decide the day. We hope soon it present in Europe.

Design and Finishing

This is a SmartWatch made of stainless steel with a quality strap. It has IP67 certification, protecting the device from water and dust. It’s what LG calls a “smartpiece” because it has a classic design, but it would still have beauty. It is bigger and heavier than the LG G Watch R, so it’s not made for thin or weak wrists.

On the front, we find the same screen as the G Watch R. In his right it has three buttons. The above leads us to the quick adjustments, the central, to menu of applications and below, if pressed continuously, makes an emergency call to a phone preconfigured.

Screen

Its screen is 1.3 inches, with P-OLED technology and a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, resulting in 245 pixels per inch. Not much to say, we already know it. It is exactly the same screen as present in the G Watch R. Outward visibility is not bad, although it would be better with an LCD screen, but the battery saving with respect to the P-OLED technology is significant. Saturation and the colors are good.

The new LG Watch Urbane NFC and LTE includes the option to make payments with it, as well as Push-To-Talk, so you can use the clock as if it were a walkie-talkie, and best of all, the LTE connectivity. You can also display notifications on your smartphone, because you can sync if you wish. You can insert a microSIM to have a single phone number on the clock. You can make calls and send SMS.
