Welcome to this step-by-step video in which we will show you how to send media files like images and music between your mobile device and your Gear S 2. Please note, your Gear S2 needs to be connected to your Samsung device compatible with Gear s2. Please note for the Galaxy S 6 plus, the gear manager is located in the tools folder.
To import images from your mobile device to your Gear S2, tap Samsung Gear on the apps screen on your mobile device. Tap send media and then tap Select images. Select files and tap done.
Please note, to sync the images with your gear S 2, while your devices charging, tap the auto syncs switch under select image and tap albums to sync. Then select your folders to be imported to the Gear S2.Then select Done.
To access the gallery app on your Gear S2, rotate the bezel clockwise from home screen to the quick access panel. Tap apps, routed the bezel to select the Gallery, tab on gallery. You can check the images imported from your connected mobile device.
If you have lots of images stored on your Gear S2, rotate the bezel to scroll through the image lists and tap on image icon to select an image. While viewing an image double tap the image to zoom in or zoom out. To view other images routed the bezel clockwise. To return to the image list swipe downwards from the top edge of the screen.
To transfer image files to your mobile device, first tap on an image. Tap and hold image to export. A tick mark will appear on the image. Routed the bezel and select any additional images you want to export. Tap on additional options and then tap send to phone.
On your mobile device appears the notification about the image receive status. If the file has been received, please tap on the notification. You can check the transferred images in the gear folder of a mobile device gallery app.
To import music files from your mobile device to your Gear S2, tap the Samsung Gear. Tap send media and tab select tracks. To sync the music on the mobile device with the gear, tap the auto syncs switch under music and tap playlists. To sync and select files to export to the gear. The selected files will be synced when the gear is changing. Select files and tap Done.
With the music player, you can listen to music saved on your Gear S2 or on your mobile device. On the watch screen rotate the bezel clockwise to view the quick access panel. Tap apps and routed the bezel to select the music player. Tap the Music player icon, on the music controller’s screen.
You can adjust the volume and skip to the previous or next file. You can pause and resume playback. When you play music from your mobile device you can control the playback of the music with the Gear S2. To select the play music from option, tap the Additional Options icon. Tap on play music from to switch between mobile device or gear S2.
Please note, to listen music saved on your gear using the play music from Gear Option, you must connect Gear S2 with a Bluetooth headset.

Hi thanks for the interesting info and help but I'm still unable to xferring photos to my gear 2 .I get "error sending photos " although setting up correctly.
I have over 1gb free storage on the gear 2.
