List of Motorola Smartphone that Will Get The Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Google has announced the availability of Android 6.0 Marshmallow schedule in a Nexus device. Motorola did not want to miss, they released a list of phones that will be getting the latest Android OS.

In the list that is posted on its official blog, stated that almost all phones Motorola in 2015 will get Marshmallow, including Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G 3rd generation.

Moreover, as quoted from Phone Arena, Monday (10/05/2015), almost all lines of Motorola phones released in 2014 will also get the latest Android. Smartphone include Moto X 2nd generation, Motorola Droid Turbo, Moto Maxx, Moto G and Moto G LTE Generation 2 and of course the Nexus 6.

Unfortunately, Motorola did not include Moto E, Moto X, and first gen of Moto G. Motorola is not yet sure when the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be released. They just call the update will likely occur in the coming weeks.

“To ensure the time, we have high standards. So we will work quickly, but we will not release until we are sure the update was really ready,” Motorola wrote in his blog.

Motorola has also written a number of brand-new features that will be Android Marshmallow favorite, namely Doze Mode, Now on Tap, Android Pay, Direct Share, and volume controls are much simpler.

There will be some changes that they did because of the new features. For example, features ‘Do not disturb’ that has a similar function to the Moto Assist. So, the update will remove features Motorola Moto Assist and replace it with the default Android Marshmallow features.
