After Android Wear, Watch OS and Tizen, now comes a new platform for wearable devices. It called YunOS, a platform developed by Chinese e-commerce company, Alibaba. YunOS was officially announced yesterday, along with the first smartwatch that will run the OS.
Smartwatch called InWatch Run. It has round design. It is targeted for the sports enthusiast, especially those who like to run a marathon. This smartwatch is equipped with various sensors, such as a geomagnetic sensor, heart rate sensor, altimeter and barometer to provide accurate information to users.
InWatch Run can record the number of calories burned, speed and distance traveled during a run. While the new OS will help the device to upload real-time data in about 13 seconds. In fact, the device also supports GPS real time positioning, so users can import maps and routes directly to smartwatch.
The specifications offered including 1.4 inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 400×400 pixels and Gorilla Glass, MT6627 quad-core chip, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, 3G network and a 240mAh lithium polymer battery that is claimed to last up to more than 100 hours of standby time, 48 hours to run mode and 10 hours to game mode.

This sensor is equipped with a high-precision heart rate monitor with a low error rate to ensure users always pay attention to their heartbeat. The device features three different modes, Casual Running mode, Coach mode and Game mode can be selected according to the conditions and situations. With sporty design, InWatch Run will be available in four color variants, black, white, red and blue. Each unit sells for 1599 yuan.
