Xiaomi Mi Band 1S Has a Heart Rate Sensor

After a long awaited, Xiaomi reveal the presence of Mi Band 1S with the new features addition. The Heart rate sensor that is not found in its predecessor. Xiaomi officially announced Mi Band 1S, the smart bracelet accessories band. This wearable devices that can be used to measure the fitness activity was on sale at a price of USD $ 16.

Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is the successor of the Mi band, the previous smart bracelet accessories released by Xiaomi. This device was previously rumored to have a screen, in order to show the information independently. But finally, the official released the device without using the screen but still can be connected with Android and iOS smartphones.

The existing features, such as notification that makes the device vibrate or make the LED light, remain present in the latest edition of the Mi band. Mi Band 1S has many features, like IP67 waterproof certification, thus the device can be brought diving to a depth of 3 feet or about 0.9144m for 30 minutes. In addition, the device can also record your heart rate and sleep quality.

You can also count the number of steps and calories burned during exercise. Xiaomi Mi Band 1S will unlock the phone and vibrates to tell if the notification is sent from the handset. Mi Band 1S has a dimension of 37 mm x 13.6mm x 9.9 mm with a weight of 5.5 grams.

With sensors embedded, it will keep track of your activities such as monitoring heart rate, sleep quality, and others. This wearable device can also calculate how many calories burned during exercise (fitness activity) as well as calculate the walking activity.

The previous device, Mi Band claimed band sold more than 6 million devices. On this basis, Xiaomi re-released the successor of the Xiaomi Mi Band. In fact, according to IDC, the company has a market share for the wearable device by 24.6 percent.

A slightly different size 37 x 13.6 x 9.9 mm, Mi Band 1S may be a little bigger for the size, if the user is already familiar with the old version 36 x 14 x 9 mm. The new model also weighs half a gram heavier than Mi Band. Mi Band 1S also features IP67 certification for protection against dust and water, and equipped with a battery 45mAh.
