iPhone 6S Water Resistant But Not Waterproof
Since the iPhone 6s have been out for a few days, some users have begun to test the breaking point of the iPhone 6S. Especially in regards to the possibility of water resistance feature. That is why we need to talk about the new 6S Water Resistant ability. There are many YouTubers have put some videos that show the impressive results of new iPhone under a few inches of water. But the result is, the devices fare much worse when they have put the phone to the test under four feet of water in a swimming pool.
Unlike the waterproof ability on Sony Xperia line which are usually sealed with adhesives material. Apple has seemingly gone directly to the core of the waterproof issue, I mean the logic board. If the logic board of iPhone 6S comes into contact with water while in use, it will get a serious trouble. Thus, Apple decided to make the logic board has a water resistant ability by placing a spongy black material around the circuit. The material will protect this smartphone for a little contact with water.
While the technique which Apple has a patent for makes the iPhone 6S far more resistant to water. It doesn’t make it has a waterproof ability. That is mean you should still be careful with your iPhone around any liquids, it will make a serious problem. Although, Apple coming up the latest generation with a new way to protect from the water.
Then, what we have got there. The iPhone 6s is only has a water resistant ability, not a waterproof. Actually, you need to still keep up from a liquid like water that very dangerous for the phone. I believe that Apple has a reason for only equip with the water resistant ability. The logic reason, when you have a waterproof ability on your iPhone, then you will have a little care for avoiding the liquid. That will make the users slow-down their care to their 6S.
However, that is a good reason for the phone with only has a water resistant ability.
