Snapdragon Wear 2100 A Smartwatch Processor from Qualcomm

Snapdragon 400 has several times used as the brains of smart watches, even though it was made for smartphone processors. But now Qualcomm has specialized a processor chip for the smartwatch device, it named Snapdragon Wear 2100.

The latest chip which is designed for wearable device is claimed to have a smaller size and more efficient power consumption. The power consumption is essential for smart watches, as most of the device’s battery only lasts for 1-2 days.

With the size of the claimed 30% smaller than the previous generation, the size of the watch can be made smaller or thinner, we quoted from Ubergizmo, Friday (12/02/2016).

Not just a smartwatch, Snapdragon Wear 2100 also claimed to be suitable for use in fitness tracker, headsets, smart glasses and many more. Qualcomm also said that there are many wearable devices are being developed using the chip.

Unfortunately it is still in the claims from Qualcomm because there is no news of tests performed on devices that use the Snapdragon 2100 chip.
