7 Useful Tips & Tricks on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Last month, Samsung has announced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Both handsets had good reviews with the many features offered. However, not all users know how to maximize the features in this Samsung flagship smartphone.
Here are a few useful tips and tricks that we have quoted from Forbes:
1. ‘Always On’ Screen
One of the best features in Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is Always On Display (AOD). This feature allows you to make fewer pixels are lit.
AOD shows the time, date, battery indicator, miss call, and messages on the lock screen without using a lot of energy. To set it, go to Settings > Display > Always On Display > (Toggle On) and select “Content to show”.
2. Adjust the Color Saturation
Did you know that the Galaxy S7 edge users can adjust the color saturation? AMOLED display has a color that is very sharp and bright, but this is too much for some users.
But you can adjust the saturation according to your eye comfort by going to Settings > Display > Screen and select “Adaptive Display” to “Basic”. Additionally, you can also access the other option “AMOLED Cinema” and “AMOLED Photo”.
3. Adjust the Sound Equalizer
If you love music, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge can make the experience more enjoyable music with sound equalize feature. This feature can be set via Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Sound quality and effects (scroll to bottom) > Equalizer.
There are many options such as UHQ upscaler, Surround and Tube Amp Pro. You can also adjust the equalizer by turning the bass, treble, instruments and buttons vocals. This feature is best used when using headphones.
4. Notifications Setting
The number of applications in the smartphone imposes incoming notification. Fortunately, you can adjust the incoming notification by accessing Settings > Notifications > Select on or off for each app.
You can set the type of notification by choosing the “advanced” on the upper right and taken an option from the Priority Notifications, Popup notifications and Hide on lock.
5. Block distractions while playing games
While playing the game will be very disturbing when get incoming notifications. You can overcome this by setting in Settings > Advanced features > Games, there will be an option to turn off notifications.
6. Block profanity
When you use voice-to-text, no way to replace profanity with asterisks. This makes the smartphone Galaxy S7 become more family friendly. You can set this feature by going to Settings > Language and entry> Google voice typing > Block offensive words.
