The first step to save up your data usage is to know what app uses the most data usage, some of your data usage might gone to an app that’s not even used by you, uninstalled it!
2. Turn Off Data Usage on iCloud
If you use iCloud to move files back and forth between devices, this could lead to higher than usual data fees. You could save a lot by turning this off, and turn that on when you need to use it.
2. Disable Automatic Download

Of course automatic download is helpful, it let’s you download and update the newest app so that you won’t be outdated but it also has a drawbacks. Every time it has an update and you are on your data usage it will download the app, and that really uses a lot of data usage. Turn this off, and update your app only on wifi it really helps a lot. It’s not like you won’t be on a wifi area for the rest of your time right?
3. Disable WiFi Assist

WiFi assist do more harm than good in my opinion, in the first place we use WiFi Connection to save up data cellular, so what’s the use of WiFi Assist? It take down the purpose of using wifi itself, turn it off. It’s not good for your wallet.
4. Disable app refresh

This is a very common trick to save on data. Apps can update in the background, while you are not using them and this of course, consumes data. This can be disabled and won’t really effect how you interact with your phone.
