The third title in the famously difficult Dark Souls series, Dark Souls 3, is set to arrive in April. It’s a third-person action role-playing game that has fewer maps than its predecessor but each is larger for more exploration, and the character builder has been expanded.

Abzu is the first release from Giant Squid, a new studio founded by Matt Nava, the art director responsible for the gorgeous Journey and Flower. And just like those games, Abzu is a non-violent experience that has you exploring a wondrous new world — only this time it’s underwater.
The first-person shooter games, Battleborn is scheduled for release in 2016 and we’re getting excited. It’s a fun and colourful game that incorporates multiplayer online battle arena elements, set on a star called Solus where each species fled to in order to escape when their planets and stars were destroyed.

The Attack on Titan anime has all of the building blocks for a great game — it’s set in a future when the remains of humanity fight off waves of people-hungry giants in a walled-off city.
6. Uncharted 4 : Thiefs ends
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is an upcoming third-person shooter that adds to the popular Uncharted series, following on from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception but set three years after that game ended. Drake is joined by his apparently not-dead-after-all brother Sam as they attempt to solve a mystery involving pirates and, of course, hidden treasure.
Most VR games are first-person experiences, utilizing the technology to immerse you in a virtual world, as if you were really there. This game from the studio behind Ratchet & Clank and Resistance instead uses VR to breathe new life into third-person adventure games.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a proper Final Fantasy to be excited about, so anticipation for FF XV is high.
