Google Duo Review – Simple One to One Video Calling App for Everyone

Google have finally release an official video application. Well, its been a year since its release actually. It is called Google Duo.

Description

Duo is a one-to-one video calling app for everyone – designed to be simple, reliable and fun so you never miss a moment.

The app is very simple and it is easy to use. You only need to download it on the google play store and then do a phone verification to it. After the verification, you could then use it to do a video call using your phone contact that have been registered in the app.

The design interface is also very simple, there are nothing much going around in the app, but that is the reason why people love them. The app looks like any other chat Messanging app like Whats’app, Blackberry, Line or WeChat without the chat. While the other excel in its symbol, and chat. This app excel in its video calling feature.

It uses your contacts number that have been registered to contact the other.  It is fast even in a slow network, and with it you could call across other platform, from Android to iPhone.

The app, google duo also have a knock knock feature that will preview the caller video call, before we answer it. Just remember that, we won’t want you to be in the bathroom / toilet doing the number 2 while calling your friend, but of course you could change that in the setting. Just go on your setting and disable the knock knock feature.

The app is very easy to use. It is lightweight too and could be use cross platform. The main thing that it excel is the video call feature. Of course, other chat messaging app got the video call feature, but it is not optimize for the video call feature. So, sometimes the video call got disconnected for no reason, or the video itself is very blurry.

This app made for video calling. Which is why, it excel in it. You could get a High Quality Video calling with a Wi-Fi or using your mobile connection. Of course, i think Wi-Fi is better as it is more stable and faster.
