Well, it used to be an arcade games only, but nowadays, you could find the same games on any smartphone devices. Especially Android devices. Like any other Pacman games, you will control the main character. That never ending coward yellow thingy that loves to eat. You will begin in a squared arena with bunch of maze. Your goal in this games is to finish the stages , finish the quests and not to die.
The original Pacman games only has 1 power ups, which is a bigger dots that you could eat, when you eat it. You will be able to eat the monster that haunt you. However, in Pacman 256, you will be able to shots some ghost, freeze them and many more.
In sense, it is interesting to see how this games is re-made, there are a hint of nostalgia and a hint of excitement to see how this game will take you.
Anyway, do you know why it is called Pacman 256? Well, originally it was designed to have no ending, as long as you have 1 more life left. However, there is a bug that keep it for happening, which is why it can’t go over 255, or 256 if you count the glitch arena. This game can be downloaded in the links below.
