The Latest WhatsApp Update for iOS Brings Some Interesting Features; Camera Filters, Quick Reply, and many more

Being under the control of Facebook seems to have made WhatsApp has a tendency like the parent company to turn their services into multi-functional services. The latest updates are distributed to WhatsApp for iOS now presents a number of new features such as those already presented in Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

These features include album folders for photo submissions, camera filters, as well as quick reply. For the first feature, every time a user sends or gets photos and videos submissions via WhatsApp then the content will be directly grouped in a separate album folder. Users can then access the album to view any photo files that have been sent in the conversation, in order to facilitate the user to organize the media content files in the application.

The next ability is to add filters for GIF animated posts, photos and videos shared via the camera feature in WhatsApp. So every time you shoot something or choose a photo that’s already in the gallery, you’ll be able to add 5 different filters before sending it, pop, black & white, cool, chrome and movie.

The last feature is a quick reply that is possible through an additional shortcut. To access it, the user simply swipes to the right on any message that appears, and the user will be able to immediately continue the conversation.
