Undervault Review – Fun and Challenging Rogue like RPG Game

If you make a game, what is the parameter that you need to use to make a good game? is it a good design? a good storyline? or a good background music? For me, a good game is a game that you can play and have fun with it.

You can play it for hours and still wanting to play more and more. However, that is why it is so hard to make a good game. A good example of a good game that you can play for hours and wanting to have more is Undervault.

Description

Undervault is a role-playing game with random levels and perma-death. Game level contains rooms of different types (kitchen, bedroom, treasury etc.). Some rooms are unknown and can be revealed with luck, or by using a room card.

Pass through monsters, learn skills, get equipment and trade. Fight with hunger and fatigue. And most importantly plan dungeon carefully to succeed!

Like any other game made by unity, this game has a simple design. It is a mini Roguelike RPG game. At the start of the game, you will be given a simple tutorial about how to play the game.

Undervault use a room dungeon based system where each room will serve as your advantages or threats depending on what type of room it is. The game also use a hunger system and fatigue system, so you know. That it will be a hard game to play.

The game is divided in room and stages. You will need to pass the room until you find a door / a stair to go up to the room. You will also need to relieve your fatigue and hunger along the ways. Some of the rooms that will appear in the game are bedroom, kitchen, warehouse, chapel, arsenal, hallway, treasure room, prison and the Question Mark Room.

If you wanted to know more about the room then click on the link here.

Like any other rogue like RPG games, Undervault use a permadeath system, which means if you die you will lose all your stuff. I think that’s the fun. It won’t be challenging if you get to have your OP item at the start of the game. You will always be challenged with a new thing and won’t be bored.

So? are you interested in playing? If you are then please click on the link below to download it!
