Best Wireshark Apps Alternative for your Android Phone

Wireshark is a software that can be use to see all the network communication going in and out of all the computer in your network. The software is usually use as a learning tool for information security amateurs, beginner even to intermediate level, and is a pretty handy way to understand a network traffic analysis.

It is usually used on PC, and unfortunately it is not available on android. However, there are some alternatives for Wireshark apps that can be use to monitor traffic and to capture the packets.

Most of the list here needs rooting to work, so be sure to root your device first before using this app.

1. SSL Capture

This app is used to capture http and https packets via VPN service, it can DECODE and SAVE the captured data automatically and easily. It’s super useful for Android developers while debugging, and it can also be helpful for general users to save your browsing history including pictures.

Description

This app uses these pins to try the connection and check if the network is vulnerable. It implements several known algorithms for pin generation and some default pins. It also calculates default key for some routers, allows you to view WiFi passwords stored on the device, scans the devices connected to your network and analyzes the quality of the WiFi channels.

Best network analyer for Android  that is well worth the money. Although what we really want Wireshark for Android, right now this app is as good as it. This app had no problems importing cap files created with Wi.cap into Wireshark. It works really great if you want to monitor your network, although the UI needs a little bit to get use to, and it is a little bit pricey.

It has many features includes Pcap analyzer, network sniffer, host discovery, port scanner, internal and external network vulnerability scanner, traceroute, ping, etc.

Unlike Packet Capture or Debug Proxy apps, you need root permissions to work with most features in WiFinspect. If you are looking for an app that does much more than capturing packets and not a full-fledged penetration testing tool like cSploit or zAnti then WiFinspect is for you.
