Google Map Got A New Update, Available on Android and iOS!

Google had recently celebrated the 15th birthday of Google map. Interestingly, the user will be able to see a new icon and several new features on the app. Now, the users will be able to see a sleeker and user-friendly design.

The goal of this redesign is to make all of the key control in the bottom bar by adding 2 new tabs. Some change that has made:  “For You” that has been renamed to “Updates”, “Your Places” also changed to “Saved” and moved from the navigation drawer to the bottom bar so you can quickly access the list easily.

But the Explore and Commute tabs remain unchanged. There is also some change in the feed of “Trending, must-see spots” that are now sourced from Google’s local guide and other online editorial content. The top tab of the app can be used to access business messaging.

The last new tab that you can see is “Contribute”. It is used to share local knowledge and details about roads and addresses, review and etc. This will help and encourage users to help improve Google Maps.

The navigation drawer can be accessed from a new full screen page which includes Location sharing, offline map, setting, Help and feedback, and lastly Incognito by tapping the profile avatar in the top right corner.

These new updates have been released on both Android and iOS, and user will be able to update the files on their respective store.
