Sword Art Online Variant Showdown for Android and iOS!

“Sword Art Online Variant Showdown,” a new Sword Art Online mobile game for Android and iOS, was recently announced by Bandai Namco. The developer, who is known for creating fantastic mobile Anime RPG games based on well-known IPs, will introduce us to a new Action RPG game set in the Sword Art Online Universe. The game, Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is a new SAO Mobile game created to commemorate the game’s tenth anniversary. The game is set to be released in 2022.

For those unfamiliar with Sword Art Online, it is a light novel that has been adapted into a manga/anime, in which a VRMMORPG is popular in the near future, and there are hundreds of players trapped inside the game with the main character Kirito, an edgy dual swords user trying to find a way out of the hell that is Sword Art Online.

Pre-registration for the game is available now, and Bandai Namco is going to give the players that had pre-registered a bunch of freebies including Kirito Waifu’s “Asuna”, Premium Gacha Tickets, and many more. Here’s the milestone:

• 100.000 people: Stamina Battery x5, EXP Chip x30
• 200.000 people: [Will to Fight] Asuna x1
• 300.000 people: Coloring Brush x3
• 400.000 people: [Will to Fight] Asuna Evolution Crystal x20
• 500.000 people: Premium Ticket x5
