Viral Hit, Vampire Survivor is Getting New Update and Content!

The viral game Vampire Survivor will reportedly get more new content once it’s officially released on Steam. Developer Poncle has released a Roadmap for the game after the success of Early Access which was released in December 2021

5 new levels, 9 new characters, 16 weapons and 2 power-ups will be released regularly in Vampire Survivor and will be ported using the new game engine. Poncle also reported that it would create new achievements and relics with a new item called Arcana but there is no detailed information regarding its use and A new gameplay with new mechanics will also be implemented.

The latest post from Pocle also mentions that he is very grateful for the success and support of his players so that new content can be released faster than before. From version 1.0, the playable characters have been updated twice, with a variety of new content in the game.

A port with a better game engine is in development, and Pocle itself says that this will provide up to a 10x performance update. It’s rumored that this update will be released sometime next summer, and game saves will be automatically transferred from the old to the new engine.
