Garena Free Fire Becomes One of The Most Popular Mobile Games in February 2022 with 21.8 million installs

With a total of 21.8 million installs in February 2022, Garena Free Fire became one of the most downloaded and installed games, up 22.7 per cent from February 2021 last year. India had the highest number of installs during this time period, accounting for more than 41% of total installs, followed by Brazil with 9.4%.

According to Sensor Tower’s data, the second most downloaded/installed game is Sybo Games’ Subway Surfer, which has 19.5 million total downloads/installs. Since February 2021, there has been a 45.3 percent increase, and India, like Garena Free Fire, has the most total installers (18.8%) and Brazil (7.8%).

Then there was Homa Games’ Merge Master or Merge & Fight, King’s Candy Crush Saga, and finally, Roblox, which rounded out the top five games with the most installs for the month. In February 2022, the global market generated approximately 4.4 billion downloads across app stores such as iOS and Google Play Store for Android, representing an increase of 0.7 percent year over year. India, with 670 million installs, or 8.7%, and Brazil, with 7.8%, had the most installs.
