Apple Updates iOS 15.5 to Developer, Might be the Last iOS 15 Major Update

Apple began development for the latest beta version of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 shortly after the public release of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4. The large company has now confirmed that it will release beta versions of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 for beta testers.

This may be the final version of iOS 15.5 before the release of iOS 16 this fall. This iOS 15.5 beta 1 update is available for beta testers and developers via settings update with build number 19F5047e.

If the update is not immediately available, you may have to wait, but the user must be registered with Apple as a developer.

This version includes several interesting features in addition to those included in iOS 15.4, which includes support for Face ID using masks, new emojis, and universal control support for iPad and Mac. iOS 15.5 is likely to be the final major update to iOS 15 before Apple releases iOS 16 at its June WWDC event.
