Analyst Predicts That the iPhone Will Introduce Under-Display Cameras and a Notch Display in 2024

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a technology expert, Apple will begin using under-screen camera technology in its iPhone series in 2024. Ming-Chi Kuo feels that Apple is making strides in its research and development efforts. He even stated that Apple would introduce the first iPhone with an embedded selfie camera and Face ID in 2024.

However, this Under Display camera is being used more for marketing objectives than for its intended purpose. For the time being, Under Display selfie camera technology will always fall short of the image quality of standard cameras. This is because the sensor receives less light due to the camera’s placement beneath the additional layer above it. Not only that iPhone is also rumoured to be removing the notch on its devices.

Of course, it will be quite intriguing to see if Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction comes true, given that there has been no smartphone with under-display technology introduced to date. Sadly iPhone hadn’t said anything regarding this information and we still have around 17 months till we find out if this is true or not.
