Asmongold, a prominent World of Warcraft streamer, was recently banned due to the backlash he encountered during his Diablo Immortal streams. The prominent streamer had his second account zackrawrr banned due to unmoderated chat content.

This latest instalment in the Diablo series attracted admirers, including Asmongold, who streamed it on their second account a few days after its release.  This is because one of his viewers used the N-word, which was extremely rude and racist.

However, this is not Asmongold’s fault, as he has previously implemented a chat filter to suppress the phrase; however, a Diablo Immortal player utilizes special text to send the offensive word into his chat. Instead of accentuating the issue at hand, the popular streamer prefers to let it go to reduce imitators who would do the same and to explain why the scenario is ridiculous. Twitch’s justification for banning Asmongold was that the streamer should thoroughly investigate racism in his channel. Twitch has reinstated the Zackrawrr channel as a result of his YouTube confirmation, and he can once again stream using his second account.
