PUBG Mobile India, or what is now known as BGMI was recently removed from the Google Play Store and App Store without any special knowledge to the players. This sudden known information scared the players because the game was previously banned in the country in 2020.
Previously, PUBG Mobile was banned in the country because India was afraid of Tencent’s abuse of privacy, and complaints from parents because the game was too addictive to be banned in that country.
It is however rumored that Google removed PUBG Mobile India due to “government orders,” and since the statement, YouTubers who have been eating PUBG content have said that this is not a permanent ban and there will be a court filing coming a few days after the incident.
Here, PUBG Mobile in that country had indeed made many players commit various crimes, including most recently a teenager killed a small child because he was scolded for playing the game too often.
The PUBG Mobile India community itself is currently developing in the country after being banned a while ago, but it is not yet known whether this will be a permanent ban given by the Indian side in the future. Information is still very minimal to speculate.
