Between MIUI 13 and MIUI 14, users have been awaiting MIUI 13.5, but Xiaomi has recently released MIUI 13.1, which is based on Android 13. Although there aren’t many differences between version 13.1 and MIUI 13, the most recent version of the Xiaomi UI does include a few modifications.
MIUI 13.1 New Features:
One of the newest and most important features of MIUI 13.1 is that it utilizes the latest version of Android, and while Google users have not yet received the stable Android 13 upgrade, the Xiaomi 12 series in China has received the Android 13-based MIUI 13.1 update. Intriguingly, some future MIUI upgrades may also include Android 13’s intriguing new capabilities updates!
Which Phones Get MIUI 13.1
The MIUI 13.1 upgrade will not be available for all devices, despite the fact that last year’s MIUI 12.5 with an Android 12 basis was only available for the Xiaomi 11 and K40 Pro. This means that only a select number of handsets, particularly flagship devices released this year, will receive the update. Among the devices that have received the upgrade are the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, but other phones may also receive it.
MIUI 13.1 for Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro can be downloaded and installed via the MIUI Downloader app. Alternatively, you can wait for this update to become available for certain smartphones.
