Supercell will stop the development of Clash Quest, the turn-based strategy game that was introduced as their new project in April of last year. This is because the game does not meet SuperCell’s high standards. Clash Quest, along with Clash Mini and Clash Heroes, was announced.
Although the game is still in its soft launch period, it is known that the updates provided by Super Cell are not very steady, and in an official Reddit post, Supercell feels that even with the design changes implemented a while ago, Clash Quest is not up to their standard. This made Supercell feel that announcing the release of the game’s development was the right thing to do.
Players who have purchased in-game items can contact Supercell to receive replacement Gems for other games the company is creating. Although the game is entertaining, Supercell’s Clash Quest lacks a novel new concept, and the lack of updates has rendered the game feel lifeless, with the latest update being in June 2022.
The recent update alters numerous features of the game, including the unpopular energy system, side quests, and gameplay, however, even that can’t save it from Supercell’s high standard. Supercell is creating new projects such as Everdale, Clash Mini, and Clash Heroes. You can play all of these games on Android, iOS, and PC via an emulator if you’re interested!
