Players of SinoAlice will lose all of their characters and accounts when the gacha game ends. Yoko Taro, the director of Nier Automata, has revealed something new about the game. Similar to the ending of his RPG NieR Yoko Taro will destroy the player’s save file for the in-game story.
According to SinoAlice’s official Twitter account, the final story from SinoAlice will terminate your account. Regardless of the amount of money spent on the gacha game, completing it will result in the removal of all current characters.
Entering the final arc will trigger an ending in the game and your account as a whole.
“THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!” the Twitter account warns. “After clearing the entire final arc, an ending clip will be played. Once that clip is over, you will be forced logged out. After that, you can never. logs. in. ever. again. Please clear everything before you set foot. NieR fans will understand.”
The Twitter statement reveals that the game account will be deleted to those who have completed it.
This implies that players cannot interact with the game system after it has been completed. Yes, even if Yoko Taro’s ideology has proven effective in past NieR games, a new ending can be found in the NieR series after the game’s save data is deleted.
Yoko Taro does not necessarily destroy the current gameplay, but she does save a few files that make the cutscene segments make the character interactions appear brand new. However, would the same occur with the SinoAlice gacha game? No one knows because Yoko Taro did not include any relevant information.
