TiMi and Tencent Develops a New Auto Chess Honor of Kings ‘King Chess’

TiMi Studios and Tencent Games have recently unveiled King Chess, a new mobile game in the Auto Chess-like genre based on Honor of Kings. With the Auto Chess gameplay system, players can now play different genres of MOBA games with the title Honor of Kings.

This news was first made during the MOBA game Honor of Kings’ 7th-anniversary celebration. In addition to the announcement, gamers can obtain Breaking Dawn, a new fighting game, and some information regarding the Honor of Kings World.

Using a three-dimensional format, King Chess will make a new breakthrough from the Auto Chess genre. TiMi and Tencent decided to give a more immersive gaming experience, and developers also wish to integrate strategic and entertainment components.

Tencent and TiMi also wish to create a new auto-chess experience. Similar to other Auto Chess genre games, this game will most likely uses a range of Honor of Kings characters. Despite the official announcement, nothing is known about King Chess TiMi Studios at this time, and information is still scarce both inside and outside of China.

It is unknown when the game will be released, but it appears that we will receive a CBT in the Mid 2023.
