Xiaomi had offered new devices under the Redmi, Xiaomi, and POCO brands, with a new POCO brand device expected soon. Redmi Note has achieved high sales in a variety of industries, including gaming.
Furthermore, in order to maintain the same level of quality, Xiaomi will offer the same phones under different brands in different regions. The identity of the newest POCO phone is unknown, however various foreign media outlets have revealed that it is a repackaged Redmi Note 12 model.
This is because only the Redmi Note 12 series has a Snapdragon chip, and reports indicate that the POCO series will as well.
However, POCO India Country Head revealed that this new POCO mobile phone is not the Redmi Note 12. And there has been no confirmation or any information related to this newest model. Apart from that, there is also information and rumors that the POCO C50 which is a rebranding of the Redmi A1+ version will be coming soon.
This POCO will use MIUI 13 with Android 12, and the codename for this new phone is Sunstone. Redmi Note 12 has been released in China using MIUI 13, and will get the MIUI 14 update in the EEA and Taiwan.
This cheap POCO model will be released using Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, which is an entry-level chipset that can be used for many things.
