Sigma, a battle royale game that is now gaining popularity owing to the controversy it has caused, recently received the most recent information. This is due to Sigma controversy, which revealed similarities with the Garena Free Fire game, causing it to be removed from the Google Play Store.
Free Fire, which was released in 2017 as a low-cost alternative to PUBG Mobile, was eventually shifted to Sigma studio Arm Private Limited, which aspires to enter the field of mobile battle royale games for mobile devices after Free Fire received an upgrade that made it no longer run on lower end devices.
Sigma Battle Royale is popular because it has the same aesthetics as Free Fire and the same gameplay as the battle royale game. This makes it seems like Garena didn’t want any competition and Garena plead for Google Play to remove the game from the Play Store on the grounds of copyright infringement.
Since its release, Sigma has managed to get a total of 600 thousand player downloads in just 2 days for Android. Following the deletion, Sigma eventually took down the servers for its battle royale game, and on December 2, the second server for the game was finally taken down.
Those who still have the Sigma Battleroyale game application cannot access the game until now. Although it is not yet known when, it seems that Sigma will be presented again either with another name, other assets or different graphics and gameplay. However, it is not yet known when Sigma will be released for sure either on Android or iOS and when is the exact date because of Garena.
