Tahlreth, the developer of the popular PS2 emulator AetherSX2, has announced that he will no longer be working on updates for the emulator.
Tahlreth stated that he had received a number of threats and complaints from fans, which made it difficult for him to continue working on the project.
AetherSX2 Developers Stated that they will not continue the development updates…
He explained that he had originally created the emulator as a hobby, but the negative interactions made it difficult for him to maintain motivation for the project.
Despite this, Tahlreth will not be removing the emulator from Google Play or the APK file, meaning that users will still be able to download existing versions and developments of the emulator.
However, Tahlreth will not be making any further updates or developments to the AetherSX2 emulator.
AetherSX2 is a PS2 emulator for Android devices that allows users to play PlayStation 2 games on their smartphones or tablets. It was developed by Tahlreth and is available in android and iOS!
