Reason Why Epic Removed Shockwave Hammer Fortnite

Fortnite Shockwave Hammer

Epic Games has removed the Shockwave Hammer from Fortnite, as predicted by most of their players. While this is merely a temporary removal, as the Shockwave Hammer is expected to return soon, players cannot use the overpowered buggy item currently.

The reason for the abrupt removal of the Shockwave Hammer, one of the most popular and highly discussed weapons in Chapter 4: Season 1, is that the weapon is buggy and players can exploit it to obtain an unfair advantage.

Since its release, the Shockwave Hammer has been a talk among its peers, with some players finding it enjoyable to use while others finding too powerful.

Why is it Removed? – Fortnite Shockwave Hammer

Its capacity to go great distances rapidly and annihilate opponents made it extremely powerful. Epic Games attempted to fix this by raising the reload time and making certain adjustments, but it was ultimately removed due to game-breaking problems.

Players have come up with unique ways to use the hammer, such as jumping endlessly and doing a Slam strike in the air after first crushing it in water. Since its bug discovery, a number of gamers have openly exploited this openly.

As a result, the Shockwave Hammer will no longer be available in Fortnite. It is unknown when the weapon will be available again, however, it is expected to be available around January 10th with the release of patch 23.20. What are your opinions on the Shockwave Hammer’s removal?
